We are the only NDIS Service Provider on the Central Coast:
- Solely providing a specialised aquatic therapy/hydrotherapy 7 days a week for children and adults with Additional Needs
- Autism Swim Certified
- NDIS registered provider
- Providing person centred and capacity building supports in collaboration with participants team of allied health professionals
- Using Storypark to track the progress of the participants, record videos of the activities delivered and communicate with the parents/carers and the participants team of allied health professionals
- Providing a range of highly qualified and specialised early childhood educators, therapy assistants and additional needs swim teachers
- Delivering sessions in pools free from crowds and noise which provide a suitable learning environment for those with sensory and learning challenges
The CrocStars program is different to the services offered by mainstream commercial swim centres by delivering sessions:
1. with the principle focus being on meeting the specific individual supports and goals of the participant
2. that work towards meeting the Participants NDIS Plan goals
3. that can be claimed from the Participants NDIS funding
4. individual based session delivery with 1:1, 2:1 or 2:2 sessions
5. in a relatively quiet, warm and supportive learning environment conducive to the sensory and very individual needs of our swimmers
6. by fully qualified and specifically trained 'additional needs' swim teachers / therapy assistants & early childhood educators
7. in collaboration with the Participants allied health professionals e.g. Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist etc
8. in partnership with Autism Swim, Australia's leading agency in Wandering and Drowning Prevention for those with ASD/cognitive deficit
